The Gasthaus Rostiger Anker in Gößl at Grundlsee combines traditional Austrian cuisine, spacious facilities, and a direct lake location with a large shady beer garden.

The Gasthaus Rostiger Anker is situated on the eastern shore of the Grundlsee in Gößl, a district of the municipality of Grundlsee in Styria. Located directly at the public bathing area, the house provides an ideal setting for culinary breaks after swimming, hiking, or a boat trip.

The kitchen values regional ingredients and serves classic Austrian home-style cuisine, including fish dishes from local waters, vegetarian options, and homemade dough dishes.
In the warm season, the large beer garden with around 150 seats invites guests to linger while enjoying the lake view. Inside, there is a cozy guest room as well as a function room for up to 180 people – ideal for celebrations and group trips.

The location is well-connected by transport: A bus stop is located directly in front of the house, and the Gößl boat landing is only about 150 meters away.
Additionally, the starting point for the popular hiking trail to the Toplitzsee is within walking distance.
