Daily licenses are available at the Spechtenseehütte.
Fish stock: trout, char, pike
Crayfish, carp, veil, zander and black perch are protected year-round.
Season: May 1 to October 31

The water of the lake is of drinking water quality and significantly contributes to the diverse flora and fauna in its surroundings. At the same time, Lake Spechten invites swimming and bathing. As a moor lake, it maintains pleasantly temperate water throughout the entire bathing season. This is also beneficial for the lush blooming water lilies.

Lake Spechten measures around 250 meters in length and about 150 meters at its widest point. Its water surface covers approximately three hectares, and the depth ranges between eight and eleven meters.
