The Winkler Kaufhaus in Bad Aussee has a long family tradition: The Winkler company has existed since 1780. The first generations were active as copper smiths, plumbers, installers, and later as iron traders; from 1928 to 1988, food was sold at this location. Today, the range includes numerous everyday products and places special emphasis on quality and regional origin.
Particularly interesting for guests are the diverse regional products and specialties from Ausseerland. These include, among others, homemade cedar schnapps, natural salt, and products from Hütter cosmetics. The offerings are complemented by children's traditional attire, kitchen supplies, gift items, Carnival articles, and souvenirs.
