Church at Kumitzberg
Bad Mitterndorf
The small church is on a small mountain rises in between Bad Mitterndorf and Pichl-Kainisch.
The church is located in the district of Obersdorf/Knoppen on a protruding rock surrounded by dense forest. People have been making pilgrimages to this hill, which stands freely in the landscape, since time immemorial. Even after Christianization, crowds of pilgrims came here. Those who are committed to the Catholic faith may stop at the Stations of the Cross. Otherwise spiritually interested people can also find their own ways to Kumitz - the name comes from Slavic and simply means "hill".
