Wolfgang Müllegger is a versatile artist who lives and works in the Salzkammergut.

Born in 1972 in Bad Ischl, he connects in his work sculpture, painting, and traditional craftsmanship. He is particularly known as a plätten builder – he skillfully creates the historical wooden boats ("Plätten") of Lake Hallstatt, preserving an important cultural heritage.
