Why do I need a hiking guide?

Our mountains, valleys, and lakes with their untamed beauty call out to us, promising unforgettable adventures. But in this breathtaking wilderness, challenges and dangers also lurk that require a safe and competent experience. Through my many years of experience, I play the key role in turning my guests' mountain dreams into reality. As a certified mountain hiking guide, the safety of my guests is my top priority. When planning all routes, many factors such as weather conditions, season, duration, terrain, and the condition of all participants are considered. I also want to deepen the connection to our magnificent nature with you and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Caution, a mobile phone cannot replace a mountain hiking guide

I ensure safe tour preparation so that you can return to the valley healthy and with a good feeling. Just carrying a mobile phone does not ensure reaching the desired summit or hut; the way shown on the smartphone may seem correct, but unfortunately many paths on the apps are incorrectly mapped, or there may be no proper reception.
As my calling as a mountain hiking guide, I stand for safety: In emergency situations, help must be summoned, which often cannot be done for various reasons (incorrect operation under stress, no alpine emergency number, etc.).
To help my guests eliminate all these negative factors, I want to make their vacation and life in the mountains easier, safer, more entertaining, and stress-free – more beautiful.

As a certified mountain hiking guide, I would like to expand our offer and now provide guided hikes in our unique mountain world during the summer and autumn. Due to the snowy winters in the Salzkammergut, selective snowshoe hikes with summit moments are always possible.

The price varies depending on the tour, duration, number of people, and any additional exclusive costs that may occur (accommodation, shuttle, lift, etc.).
Starting in 2026, we will offer a new program every week from Monday to Friday. To stay updated, it’s best to follow us on Instagram or Facebook. The prices are lower for the day program.
