Xterra Execution Triathlon

The Xterra Full Course Triathlon will be held in Altaussee for the second time. 1.5 kilometers of swimming, 34 kilometers of cycling, and 10 kilometers of running are the disciplines in this great sports event.
Altaussee is also this summer venue for this spectacular sporting event. Athletes from around the world are participating in this sports event at the foot of Altaussee's local mountain Loser. The start for this triathlon is again the Walter-Munk-Park (Lake Park) in Altaussee. After the three competitions swimming, cycling, and running the finish this year is in Altaussee in the Kurpark.
The start for the triathlon is the blue inkwell, as the Altausseer See is affectionately called by many writers. There is a 750 meter loop that the participants must swim twice. Out of the water into the transition area where the mountain bikes are already waiting for the individual riders.
The cycling course has changed somewhat since last year. 17 kilometers with three refreshment stations through the forests and the town center of Altaussee will also be traversed two times, then the last part of the Xterra triathlon begins.
To conclude, the athletes can expect a 10 kilometer running course. As in last year, the route leads up to the Tressensattel and then back over Obertressen to Altaussee, where the finish of the triathlon is located directly in the Kurpark Altaussee.
The award ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the new event hall Altaussee. The day ends with a an afterparty featuring live music.
