Xterra Charity Run

For the first time the Charity Run of the sports event Xterra takes place in Altaussee. The Charity Run has a distance of four kilometers.

On August 28th and 29th, 2026 , Altaussee will become the meeting point for sports enthusiasts and everyone who wants to do something good together. As part of the international Xterra Austria, the four-kilometer Charity Run will take place on August 28th, 2026. A relaxed run for all, where the focus is not on time, but on the shared experience and good causes.

The approximately four kilometers long route around the Plattenkogel in Altaussee is suitable for everyone, whether it is tackled by running, jogging, or fast walking.

All proceeds from this Charity Run will be donated to the Lions Club Ausseerland .

The start is at 6:00 p.m. in the Kurpark in Altaussee.

Registration is desired by August 26, 2026. On-site registration is also possible.

  • 08:00-11:00 a.m. athlete check-in (full distance until 09:00 a.m.), event hall Altaussee
  • 08:30-09:45 a.m. transition open – triathlon over the full distance, Walter-Munk-Park (Lake Park) 
  • 10:00 a.m. START - full distance Altaussee, Walter-Munk-Park (Lake Park)
  • 02:00 p.m. total course – time limit for cycling
  • 06:00-08:00 p.m. athlete dinner – full distance & sprint
  • 07:00 p.m. awards ceremony

Traffic and Temporary Restrictions on August 29, 2026 between 10:00 and 4:00 p.m.

The organizers strive to keep disruptions to a minimum. However, short traffic stops will occur at the following locations.
