Freshly prepared delicacies from fire cuisine, grill stations, and smokers combine local products with influences from around the world and invite you to discover and enjoy.

Delight, grilling art, and summer feeling in the Ausseerland
From July 5 to 8, 2026 the Schutzhaus Ausseerland transforms into a meeting point for connoisseurs, grilling fans, and lovers of regional cuisine. The Street Food & BBQ Days combine creative street food cooking, professional grilling artistry, and a relaxed summer atmosphere amidst the impressive mountain world of the Ausseerland.
On two street food days, visitors can expect a variety of specialties fresh from the smoker, grill, and outdoor kitchen. Regional ingredients meet international flavors, creating special taste experiences.
A special highlight is the BBQ cooking course on July 6, 2026 with grilling experts Klaus Kronsteiner and Tim Schafer. Participants will gain practical insights into modern grilling techniques, preparation methods, and creative recipe ideas.
The grand finale will be the BBQ party on July 8, 2026 with live grilling, culinary delights, and a cozy gathering.
