Mozart & Möchtegern
With their diverse cultural program, the Festival Weeks of the Salzkammergutspiele are a highlight in the calendar for all culture enthusiasts. On this evening, the program features the story by the author Helmut Korherr titled Mozart & Möchtegern.
The origin story of the famous Requiem. Using Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Count Franz Walsegg, the commissioner of the Requiem, it will be shown how differently art can be perceived. On one side stands the gifted composer, who suffers for his art - and on the other side, the vain dilettante, who believes that being an artist can be bought with money.
