On Wednesday, August 5th at 7:30 p.m., the Kammerhofmuseum Bad Aussee invites you to an exciting film and discussion evening. Short films by Markus Raich and Hans Fuchs will be shown about the SS unit in Öderntal, Kaltenbrunner's escape into the Dead Mountains, and war criminals on Blaa-Alm. The German historian Stephanie Salzmann and co-curator Hans Fuchs will analyze the films and provide context for the historical background.

At the Kammerhofmuseum in Bad Aussee a special film and discussion evening is on the agenda.

For the special exhibition "1945 – End of the War at the Scene of Ausseerland" Markus Raich and Hans Fuchs have produced several short films that deal with regional contemporary history. The focus is on the topics "The SS Unit in Öderntal", "Kaltenbrunner's Escape to the Dead Mountains", and "War Criminals at Blaa-Alm". Following the film screenings, German historian Stephanie Salzmann and co-curator Hans Fuchs will analyze the presented content, illuminate the historical contexts, and discuss the significance of the events in both regional and national contexts. An informative evening that connects film and historical research.
