Aussee Gespräche 2026
The Ausseer Gespräche have already established a firm tradition in the Ausseerland region and will take place for the 17th time in 2026 in Bad Aussee. The intellectual discussions attract people from various disciplines to the Salzkammergut region every year. This year, the topic "how dependent/independent is Europe?" will be discussed together.
5:00 p.m. Opening: As a start on Thursday, a high-profile panel will discuss "Austria in the Context of EU Policy" with Valentin Inzko, Gerald Karner, Paul Lendvai, and Roberta Maierhofer on a highly regarded podium.
As every year, in the evening of the opening, the mayor of Aussee, Thomas Schönauer, invites to a reception at Kammerhof, musically accompanied by the Bradlmusi.
