The Berndl Inn is known for its fish specialties; today the trout comes from the smokehouse.
Right in the town center of Altaussee is the Gasthof Berndl. Special fish dishes are regularly featured on the daily menu, currently, you can find a char from the smokehouse.
This specialty, which is traditionally prepared in the smokehouse, is served all day from the kitchen of the traditional inn Berndl.
For this excellent fish dish, we recommend noble Styrian wines.
