Information
Our two self-catering cabins are equipped for eight people each and are located on the beautiful Tauplitzalm beneath the mountain station of the 4-seater chairlift.
The large Winkler cabin has four cozy bedrooms, while the small Winkler cabin with three bedrooms is perfect for smaller groups or families.
In the summer months, from June to early September, the young cattle pass by the cabins every morning and evening – a charming sight. The warm summer evenings invite gathering around the barbecue area for a cozy get-together and to unwind at the end of the day.
Numerous hiking trails start right in front of the cabins and offer ideal opportunities to explore the surrounding nature in summer.
In the winter, the cabins are located directly on the cross-country ski trail, and the ski slopes are also nearby – a true paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. Whether summer or winter, nature can be enjoyed here in its most beautiful form.

<p>Conditions</p>
- The access to the Tauplitzalm is via the toll-required Tauplitzalm Alpine Road from Bad Mitterndorf.
- Access is possible in summer all the way to the cabin.
- In winter, cars must be left at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. A night parking fee is charged. You will be picked up from the parking lot by snowmobile and taken to the cabin. The snowmobile transport is subject to a fee.
- The gas costs will be settled on-site, depending on consumption.
- Please note that pets are not allowed.

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
