Information
The Torbauerhütte is located on the Tauplitzalm, right near the large parking lot.
The self-catering cabin features two identical apartments for a maximum of eight people each. The apartments each have three bedrooms (two double rooms and a quadruple room). The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a shower and toilet. Another toilet is located on the ground floor. A shoe dryer in the storage room offers additional comfort.
The rustic building made of spruce wood offers direct access to the hiking trails of the Tauplitzalm. The cross-country ski trail runs past the hut and invites you to start directly from the doorstep into the snowy winter landscape . The slopes are also in close proximity and allow for a quick and convenient entry into the ski enjoyment.

<p>Conditions</p>
The ascent to the Tauplitzalm is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (toll required)
In summer, you can drive to the hut. In winter, the car must be left at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. It is about 100 meters from the parking lot to the hut. Luggage transport is possible.

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen
from Salzburg
via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
