Information
The Thomahofhütte is located in the heart of the Tauplitzalm
The wooden house, built from local larch wood, offers ample space and comfort for both families and groups of friends to enjoy nature undisturbed.
With two separate holiday apartments, each equipped with its own sauna and free WiFi , the cabin provides everything necessary for a pleasant stay.
Each apartment accommodates up to eight people and additionally has a pull-out couch in the living area for an extra bed. The apartments are furnished with two lovingly decorated bedrooms. A shower, a toilet, and an additional bathroom ensure comfort. The spacious kitchen-living area is heated by a tiled stove, and the gas heating provides extra warmth. Practical rooms such as an entrance area, a storage room, a ski boot drying room , and a waxing room are also part of the amenities.
Guests can relax on the sun terrace equipped with tables, benches, and loungers while enjoying the views of the surroundings. A Weber grill is available to conclude the evening pleasantly.
This alpine cabin is the perfect retreat for those seeking peace, comfort, and a breathtaking natural backdrop.

The access is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (toll required)
In summer, you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. From there, you will be picked up and taken to the cabin.

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
