The Pühringerhütte in the Tote Gebirge, in the middle of the Ausseerland in Styria, is located at an elevation of 1,637 meters and offers ideal conditions for mountain lovers.

Numerous tours tempt around the Pühringerhütte: The approach from Gößl in the municipality of Grundlsee, passing the idyllic Lahngangsee, takes about four hours.
Other rewarding destinations in the immediate vicinity are the Elm and the Rotgschirr. Longer hikes to the Albert-Appelhaus, to the Welser Hütte, or to the Prielschutzhaus are reachable in just a few hours.
