Nook Nature Hideaway
Information
The Nook - Nature Hideaway is located on the Old Salt Road in Bad Aussee, nestled between the mountains of the Dead Mountains and the Grundlsee. The quiet location combines proximity to the towns and landscapes of Ausseerland with a high degree of privacy. Bad Aussee, the Grundlsee, and numerous hiking and excursion destinations in the region are easily accessible.
The two separate houses are clearly and modern designed while incorporating materials and elements of the traditional architecture of Ausseerland. Each house features a generous living area, two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a private terrace, a private garden, and a private sauna. The nature-oriented design with meadow and stream creates a peaceful retreat amidst the landscape.
Each house offers two bedrooms:
- 1 double room with a bed of 1.80 × 2.00 m
- 1 family room with four beds of 0.80 × 2.00 m
Each house accommodates up to 6 people. If needed, the two houses can be jointly used through a connecting door. This creates a spacious accommodation for groups and families of up to 12 people.
The Nook provides an ideal starting point to explore the landscape around Bad Aussee and the Grundlsee on foot. Numerous walking and hiking trails lead through forests, meadows, and along the lakes.
A varied tour is the loop Bad Aussee – Grundlsee – Gallhof – Hintenkogl – St. Leonhard with approximately 8.2 km and 114 meters of elevation.
For a longer hike, the Geotrail Grundlsee is recommended. The approximately 13.3 km long route follows the southern shore of the Grundlsee to the Toplitzsee and combines natural experiences with geological features of the region.
