It is only a few hundred meters to the valley station of the “Die Tauplitz” skiing and hiking area. Due to its central location, Tauplitz is the perfect starting point for exploring the many excursion destinations in the Salzkammergut and the Schladming-Dachstein region. Like the many lakes and the famous thermal baths of the Ausseerland or the Dachstein Glacier on the highest mountain in Styria. A perfect vacation spot in summer as well as in winter.
