Or even biking. Right in front of the door of the Hacienda Kukoricza you can start on the Salzkammergut Cycle Route R19 or explore another cycling path in the Ausseerland, the Styrian Salzkammergut.
For cross-country skiing enthusiasts, in winter, the Steirische Salzkammergut Loipe starts from Bad Mitterndorf-Tauplitz/Tauplitzalm and Pichl/Kainisch almost directly at Hacienda Kukoricza and offers an breathtaking view of the snow-covered mountain landscape of Ausseerland.
Of course, the nearest ski area with Tauplitz is not far away, or alternatively, other ski regions in the neighborhood can be easily visited.
