Information
The Koglerhütte is located directly on the Tauplitzalm at the foot of Schneiderkogel, surrounded by other impressive peaks.
The self-catering hut offers space for up to ten people. It has an entrance hall, a communal kitchen with a wood stove for cooking and baking, a storage room, and a farmer’s lounge with a wood stove and two seating areas. In addition, there are two double bedrooms, a dormitory for four people, a room with bunk beds, a restroom on the first floor, a restroom on the ground floor, and a washroom with a shower.
Water, sewer, and electrical connections are available.
In summer, the accommodation is located directly on the hiking trail of the Six Lakes Hike. In winter, skis can be put on right in front of the hut, and nothing stands in the way of winter sports enjoyment.

The access is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (toll required)
In summer, you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and taken to the hut.

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
