Information
The Grashütte on the Tauplitzalm is a rustic self-catering hut at the foot of the Schneiderkogel.
It offers space for up to 20 people. There is a mattress dormitory for six people, a mattress dormitory for ten people, and two smaller rooms for two and three people respectively.
The large common room is heated with a wood stove. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, and the bathroom is equipped with a shower. The toilet is separate.
In winter, the ski slopes are right at the doorstep. In summer, the 6-lake hike can be started directly from the accommodation.
A direct drive to the hut by car is only possible in summer. In winter, however, the vehicle must be parked at the parking lot, and the transportation of luggage to the hut must be organized by oneself.

The ascent to the Tauplitzalm takes place from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (toll required)
In summer, you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. From there, you will be picked up and taken to the hut.

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
