The town center of Bad Aussee can be reached within about ten minutes on foot. In the town center, there are charming little shops and cafés that invite you to stroll. The Kammerhofmuseum is also located directly in the center of Bad Aussee and is worth a visit. The museum focuses on the culture, traditions, and architecture of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut, and there are always special exhibitions as well.

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
