The lovingly revitalized Holiday House Steira is located in the midst of the impressive landscape of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut, near the Grundlsee, the largest lake in Styria. With around 120 square meter of living space and a 300 square meter large garden, the Holiday House Steira combines traditional character with natural and modern living comfort.
During the extensive renovation, particular emphasis was placed on natural materials. Wood fiber insulation boards and clay plaster create a pleasant indoor climate and contribute to a cozy atmosphere. Traditional elements were preserved and combined with individual details.
The heart of the house is the cozy kitchen with a traditional wood stove. The completely renewed bathroom has a uniquely designed epoxy resin floor and handmade furniture made from pallet wood. Lovingly painted pictures set special accents and give the rooms an individual and creative touch.
The generous garden offers space for peace and relaxation and provides the opportunity to fully enjoy the natural surroundings around the Grundlsee.
Nature and Excursion Destinations in Ausseerland
The location of the holiday house is an excellent starting point for numerous excursion destinations in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut.
The nearby Grundlsee invites you to walks, bike tours and various water sports activities. A special nature experience is offered by the Toplitzsee, which is surrounded by impressive mountain scenery. The idyllic Kammersee can also be reached via the Toplitzsee.
Relaxation in Every Season
The Ausseerland offers a variety of options for leisure and relaxation in every season. In spring and summer, hiking, cycling, swimming in Grundlsee and stand-up paddling are in the spotlight. Autumn impresses with colorful landscapes and clear mountain air. In winter months, options for cross-country skiing, skiing, winter hiking and other winter sports activities are available.
