In the midst of the impressive nature of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut region lies the family-run Campingplatz Temel in Altaussee. Surrounded by meadows and mountains like the Trisselwand and the Loser in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut, the site offers the ideal environment for all those seeking tranquility, nature, and relaxation.
The Altausseer Lake is only about 700 meters away and easily reachable on foot in a few minutes. The town center of Altaussee is also easily accessible with a 1.9-kilometer walk. There are shopping opportunities and restaurants among other amenities. The nearby Bad Aussee is located about 3 kilometers away. Whether it’s relaxing days at the campsite, a walk to or around Altausseer Lake, or an excursion into the mountain world of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut region – Camping Temel is a wonderful starting point to discover the Ausseerland Salzkammergut .
For campers, a total of 60 camping spots for motorhomes, caravans, and tents are available. Most spots come with a 16 Ampere electricity connection. For all campers, there is also a fresh water supply as well as waste disposal facilities.
Daily comfort is also taken care of. The sanitary building is accessible at all times, free Wi-Fi is available, and a washing machine can be used for a fee. A special service for guests is the daily freshly delivered bread and pastries, which can be obtained directly at Campingplatz Temel.

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
