Hollhaus
Information
The ÖAV House was built in 1924/1925. In 1960, the Hollhaus was leased by the Hüttner family and was purchased in 2008. Meanwhile, the third generation is already working in the business.
The 19 rooms are all comfortably furnished with handcrafted wooden beds with modern mattresses and equipped with a sink. The shower and toilet are located in the corridor. On the sun terrace or in the guest room, one is spoiled with regional and traditional dishes.
The Hollhaus is considered a specialist for family mountain vacations. In the weekly bookable summer weeks between July and August, different destinations on the 6-lake high plateau are targeted every day of the week. The excursions are led by trained hiking guides and youth counselors. This makes it possible to be safely on the way together but also without children. The experiential holiday with varied hikes and leisure activities, such as the exploration of natural caves, is rounded off with stories by the campfire under the starry sky of the Tauplitzalm.
In winter, the Hollhaus is located directly on the slope, ensuring a successful ski day or a winter hike is not hindered. In winter as in summer, fun and adventure are pre-programmed at Hollhaus.
We are happy to provide information regarding a stay at the Hollhaus on the Tauplitzalm by phone or email.
