The Alte Schmiede in Bad Mitterndorf is a special accommodation for all who appreciate character, history, and alpine coziness. In a lovingly revitalized building – once a real blacksmith's shop – two spacious apartments now combine the charm of past times with modern living comfort.
Each unit, with approximately 100 m², offers space for up to six people and impresses with plenty of room, light, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. High-quality wooden floors, stylish country house furnishings, and the palpable historical flair make the Alte Schmiede a place with a very special living feeling.
Alte Schmiede 1 delights with three spacious bedrooms with double beds, two WCs (one of them separate), as well as a cozy living area with a fireplace – perfect for relaxing evenings after an active day.
Alte Schmiede 2, located on the first floor and accessible via an external wooden staircase, offers two bedrooms with double beds as well as a comfortable sofa bed in the living area, providing additional privacy and an equally atmospheric ambiance.
The location is extraordinary:
Directly next to the GrimmingTherme, with cross-country ski trails starting right at the doorstep and numerous hiking trails passing directly by the house. At the same time, you can reach the center of Bad Mitterndorf with restaurants, cafés, and shopping opportunities in just a few minutes.
The Alte Schmiede is therefore the ideal retreat for families, friends, or groups traveling together who still value ample space and individual retreat options.

DEPOSIT: A deposit of 40% is required through an online portal after booking.
OCCUPANCY: Maximum 6 persons per apartment
Tourist tax and lodging tax per person (children under 16 years free): Euro 3,50 / night
Final cleaning: Euro 125,- (included in the price)
Bedding and towels are included in the price.
Smoking is prohibited in this accommodation.
Parties are prohibited in this accommodation.
Pets are warmly welcome. Please contact us in advance at guest@mynests.at so that we can prepare everything optimally for you (Euro 10.00 per night).
Children under 2 years stay free in the parents' bed. A baby cot can be provided free of charge, subject to availability, but we ask for prior reservation with the host.
The final payment is due 1 day before arrival. The final payment is made online by credit card. If credit card payment is not possible for you, please contact the host directly after booking to arrange payment by bank transfer.
