Welcome to the Alte Mühle in Gößl – a place where time moves a little slower. The approximately 250-year-old Gößler Mill has been lovingly transformed into a cozy, rustic holiday home and now offers an extraordinary accommodation far from the everyday.
Idyllically located right by a picturesque mountain stream, here you will experience nature in its most original form. The lively sound of the water accompanies you throughout the day, creating a unique atmosphere of tranquility and deceleration. Your break begins practically at your doorstep: Only about 20 meters away, a gently ascending hiking trail leads directly into the impressive landscape of the Ausseerland.
The heart of the house is the original wooden parlor, which invites you to linger with its rustic coziness. In the winter months, a traditional tiled stove provides cozy warmth and genuine cabin charm - almost like in grandmother's days. Directly adjacent is the light-filled enclosed veranda, known as the “Brickl” – a wonderful spot for a relaxed breakfast or peaceful evenings in any weather.
With approximately 70 m², the house offers space for up to four people. Two lovingly furnished bedrooms – equipped with a 160 cm double bed and a 140 cm day bed – ensure restful nights. The steep staircase to the upper floor runs at the point where the water wheel used to be, highlighting the authentic character of this special house. Under the charming sloping ceilings, cozy retreats emerge, while large windows provide a splendid view of the surrounding mountains and the original village.
Start your day on the bench in front of the house with a cup of coffee and let your gaze wander over the small garden, the old millstone, and the surrounding mountain landscape. Or enjoy quiet hours on the small wooden terrace right by the stream – a truly special place, especially in the evening hours.
Despite its historical charm, you do not have to forgo modern comforts: A television, coffee machine, and other amenities ensure a relaxing stay.
The location is unique – just a stone's throw from Grundlsee, nestled in the stunning nature of the Styrian Salzkammergut. A ski room is located behind the house, and dogs are also warmly welcomed – because the best holiday moments are best shared together.

DEPOSIT: A deposit of 40% is to be made via an online portal after booking.
OCCUPANCY: maximum 5 persons per apartment
Tourist tax and lodging tax per person (children under 16 years free): Euro 3.50 / night
Final cleaning: Euro 115,- (included in the price)
Bedding and towels are included in the price.
Smoking is prohibited in this accommodation.
Parties are prohibited in this accommodation.
Dogs are welcome here. Please contact us in advance at guest@mynests.at so we can prepare everything optimally for you (Euro 10.00 per night).
Children under 2 years stay free in their parents' bed. A baby cot can be provided free of charge upon availability, but we ask for prior reservation with the host.
The final payment is due 1 day before arrival. The final payment is made online by credit card. If credit card payment is not possible for you, please contact the host directly after booking to arrange payment by transfer.
