crispy-tender Martinigans with classic side dishes in the Berndl Restaurant in Altaussee.
When autumn arrives in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut, the time for a culinary classic begins again: the traditional Martin goose. As every year, the Gasthof Berndl in the town center of Altaussee invites you to enjoy this popular delight of Austrian cuisine.
The crispy roasted goose with tender meat, accompanied by classic red cabbage and fluffy dumplings, provides hearty moments of enjoyment and cozy hours. As a fixed part of Austrian autumn cuisine, the Martin goose combines traditional tavern culture with culinary pleasure and sociable gatherings.
Especially around Martin's Day, the goose meal holds a special significance and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful culinary traditions of the year. At the Restaurant Berndl, this popular autumn classic is celebrated year after year, inviting guests to enjoy seasonal cuisine in a cozy atmosphere.
A seasonal highlight that unites tradition, conviviality, and Austrian taste – at the traditional Martin goose at the Gasthof Berndl in Altaussee.
