Tower music before the midnight mass
The end of Christmas Eve traditionally begins with the tower blowing at the church forecourt of the parish church of Altaussee. At midnight, the Alpine Christmas Mass is celebrated.
For the second time that day, musical sounds resonate around the parish church in Altaussee. The Holy Evening is drawing to a close, and the traditional Tower Blowing in front of the church belongs to it.
Many visitors come by, listening to the special music pieces of Joderln and Weisen, which are performed by the brass musicians. A very special contemplative atmosphere unfolds in front of the parish church.
After the Tower Blowing, all visitors go into the parish church, where the Alpine Christmas Mass is held at midnight.
