“Krampus custom” - Advent in Aussee

Characterized by atmospheric traditions and lived customs, the Miglo custom is not only a fixed component of the Advent in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut region, but every winter it is something truly special for both children and adults alike. As a special surprise, each child receives a small bag from St. Nicholas!
A special highlight of Advent in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut region
Deeply rooted in regional tradition, the Miglon, as the Krampuses are called here in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut, create a very special atmosphere during the Advent season. The entire proceeds from the voluntary donations during the Miglo tradition with the local Krampuses from Bad Aussee benefit the municipal kindergarten in Bad Aussee.
