Herring & char feast

On Ash Wednesday, during the Herring & Char Feast fine fish specialties accompanied by a suitable selection of wines, are featured on the daily menu.  

This year, the Gasthof Berndl in the heart of Altaussee is once again inviting you to a culinary conclusion of the Carnival season. Ash Wednesday will be used as an occasion to prepare fish specialties from rivers, lakes, and seas in the kitchen at the beginning of Lent. The appropriate Styrian wine will be served with each dish.
