The inn on the Blaa Alm starts its winter season after the seasonal break on the first Advent weekend with the nativity exhibition and a small Christmas market.

The Blaa Alm can be reached in just a few minutes by car from the town center in Altaussee. Alpine huts and the popular tavern are located in the idyllic alpine area.

Many locals have hidden talents, including the construction of a nativity scene. During the nativity exhibition on the 1st floor of the Blaa Alm, these unique artworks are displayed. Handmade rural nativity scenes, oriental nativity scenes, and small nativity scenes in lanterns are admired by visitors. One or two nativity builders also provide valuable information about their creation.

In the other rooms, local wooden goods, advent arrangements, handicrafts, and Christmas gifts are presented and offered for sale.

For the culinary well-being, the guest room is well taken care of. It has already become a tradition that during the nativity exhibition, the sausage feast is served from the kitchen. Blood sausage, liver sausage, bratwurst, roast pork with sauerkraut and fried potatoes are just a selection from the daily menu. However, the tried-and-true dishes can still be chosen.
