The theatrical performance by the stage Altaussee is a fixed date in the Christmas season in Altaussee. Since last year, the performances have been hosted directly in the town center at the Event Hall Altaussee.
Many residents of Altaussee contribute to the theater both in front of and behind the scenes, ensuring an excellent performance, a successful stage design, and the well-being of the audience.

The Blue Jug - Free by Sepp Grundhammer

In the small community of Steinberg-Schmuggling, things are in turmoil. First, a mysterious death casts a shadow over the idyllic village life, and then there is the visit of a stranger sent by the diocese to assess the small village church. And all of this happens at a time when the mayor is not on-site.

Discomfort, incomprehension, and resistance spread among the villagers. But why? Is there something to hide in the community surrounding the parish, or is it customary in a small place to be skeptical of innovations?

“Blue is the soul of the sky and the depth of the sea. And – blue is also our jug!”

The amateur actors of the Bühne Altaussee are looking forward to a fun evening!
