After this dreamy summer and the autumn in all its glowing colors, the anticipation for the calmer time is slowly growing!

But it's not just about quiet, but also about cozy experiences and festive moods that characterize the weeks before and around Christmas.

Until December 20, 2026, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. as well as additionally on Monday, December 7, and Tuesday, December 8, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the cozy, festively decorated Ausseer Christkindlmarkt in the Kurpark invites everyone to linger, marvel, and enjoy together.

This year, there are again particularly beautiful gift ideas and lovingly crafted handicrafts: from products made of Swiss stone pine wood, wooden lanterns, beekeeping products, and beeswax candles to creative crafts, hand-knitted socks and hats, down to children’s fashion, headbands, caps, painted Christmas ornaments, and much more.

Of course, there is also plenty of food on offer. Smoked fish, jams, liqueurs and schnapps, bacon, sausages, cheese, homemade cookies, farmers' doughnuts, chestnuts, punch, and mulled wine will make the hearts of gourmets race.

This special mix of crafts, gift ideas, and culinary delights makes the Ausseer Christkindlmarkt so unique.

Little visitors can also look forward to a Christmas children’s program by the Children's Friends of Bad Aussee and the Narcissus Village Zloam.

The Ausseer merchants look forward to numerous visitors and create additional Christmas spirit with their festively decorated shops. With a lot of sensitivity and expertise, they assist in the selection of Christmas gifts and help find just the right thing.

And when a little break is needed in between, the cozy coffee houses and eateries invite you to enjoy a relaxed coffee break or a hearty meal.
