Altaussee Children's Carnival

The fifth season of the Ausseerland region naturally also leaves its mark on the youth of the village at the foot of Mount Loser. This Carnival Saturday in Altaussee is all about the children! During this cheerful Carnival parade, the little Maschkera can be admired in a variety of colorful costumes.
Imaginative costumes and an exuberant carnival atmosphere
Accompanied by the distinguished "Knopferln" from the "old Aussee" and the musicians of the brass band Salinenmusik Altaussee, the children parade through the town center of Altaussee. The colorful children's carnival parade starts at the "Kesselgrube", next to the tavern "Postillions Einkehr" and ends at the new event hall. There, the carnival is afterwards celebrated in good company with a toast to carnival in Ausseerland, and a lively carnival party is celebrated extensively.
