The importance of the right actions in an emergency is demonstrated by a short first aid event on October 16 at the main square in Bad Mitterndorf. Together with the Red Cross Youth Bad Mitterndorf, basic measures will be presented that can save lives in an emergency.

It will be explained how to check if a person is responsive, how to make an emergency call correctly, and how to help with chest compressions. The practical insights provide important knowledge and show how crucial quick and correct actions are in the first minutes of an emergency.

The half-hour event is aimed at young and old and offers the opportunity to get informed, watch, and gain more security in dealing with emergencies. A valuable contribution for more first aid knowledge in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut.
