Where the hearts of children and young people beat faster

Time travel to the Middle Ages

On a guided tour, you will learn about the lives of knights and damsels and get to slip into their clothes. In the archaeology programme, you can excavate and identify original finds like real researchers. A medieval trial will be re-enacted with distributed roles, including torture and punishment.

Cars and coaches can park at the castle, or you can come by train and hike up through the forest.

Falconry flight show

Our bird zoo is home to various falcons, eagles, owls, vultures and many more. During the show, you can experience their flight up close in front of and above you. In the ‘Fascination of Falconry’ programme, you will learn about the work of falconers.

Crusaders and alchemy

Discover what the castle lords learnt during the crusades in the Orient and brought back to Europe! An alchemist's laboratory was hidden at the end of a secret passage near the Loreto Chapel.
