Wildlife Park Adventure in Herberstein
During a safari around the world, participants observe over 700 species of animals. The zoological educators at Herberstein Zoo answer all the questions of the visitors: Why do zebras have stripes? How fast can a cheetah run? Why do wolves howl in the moonlight and why do big cats have fast days? The commented feedings, the beautifully blooming gardens and a visit to the interactive Museum of Biodiversity promise an exciting excursion.
Travel idea: Africa safari in Eastern Styria
The safari guests embark on an exciting journey through the "African Eastern Styria". Together with the zoological educators, they observe lions, cheetahs and other wild animals. Questions are always welcome, for example, about the function of the lion's canines. But also curiosities from the African animal kingdom are presented, such as the fact that zebras walk on their hoofnails.
Adventure with a bite! During the tracking and tooth comparison, the rangers present the eating and hunting habits of the animals. Conclusion of the exciting journey: After a day in the wildlife park, visitors almost feel like real animal researchers.
