About us
The Benedictine Abbey of Admont is the oldest monastery in Styria and is located at the entrance to the Gesäuse National Park. The impressive natural scenery makes the hearts of young visitors beat faster. The largest monastery library in the world and the new museum fascinate children and young people of all age groups.
Museum workshop at Admont Benedictine Abbey
Children will love the museum crafts workshop. During a guided tour, they discover the secrets of the monastery through a playful approach. Relaxation is also guaranteed: the park with its herb garden and impressive mountain backdrop invites you to stay a while. The cosy Stiftskeller provides culinary delights.
