Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen nature paradise

The nature park is home to numerous natural jewels. From powerful springs to idyllic pond and moorland landscapes. The park lies between the 1,892 metre-high Grebenzen and the 2,396 metre-high Zirbitzkogel.

Tip - NaturLese-Museum Neumarkt: The interactive museum invites young groups on a journey of discovery around nature! A special highlight is the living beehive, where the busy animals can be observed up close as they go about their work.

Year-round destination nature park

In summer ☀️, the nature park offers numerous natural gems, easy and scenic hiking trails and bike tours as well as exciting excursion destinations.

In winter ❄️ there are numerous winter sports activities on the two mountain massifs of Zirbitzkogel and Grebenzen. Schools and youth groups in particular appreciate the 25 kilometres of pistes in the Grebenzen ski area. Winter sports fans up to the age of 28 benefit from reduced ski ticket prices. On the Zirbitzkogel, a child-friendly lift and BERGaufRODELN await you.

Spring 🌼 and autumn 🍂 offer the best weather with colourful landscapes and a mild climate.
