About us

Where the hearts of children and young people beat faster

Riegersburg Castle towers majestically on an extinct volcano. Our young visitors love to explore the extensive fortress complex on a treasure hunt with castle ghost Rüdiger. If you fancy a quicker tour, take the castle lift.

The castle's state rooms, cellars and side rooms are home to the witch, weapons and castle museum. With a children's audio guide or a personal tour, children learn a lot about our history and culture. Plenty of fun is also guaranteed with our “Rüdiger's Friend Book Rally” in the castle rooms.
The tavern with a great children's playground invites you to relax and enjoy some food!
Riegersburg Bird of Prey Observatory: Falconry is the art of hunting with falcons and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Falcons, eagles, vultures and exotic birds show off their flying skills at the bird of prey show. A true experience! (Duration approx. 1 hour).
