Surrounded by beautiful nature, the Gasthof Moasterhaus at Salzstiegl is both a peaceful base and starting point for adventures in summer and winter. The inn has 38 rooms, all of which are equipped with shower/WC and Wi-Fi.

With the leisure programme on offer, boredom is guaranteed to be a non-existent option here at the Salzstiegl. In summer, the bungee trampoline, giant scooter rides down the mountain, archery and the climbing tower are among the absolute highlights.

There is also a 19.5-hectare trial park with many natural obstacles and some artificial barriers. Here you can hire a trial bike and book a taster lesson with a qualified trainer. During this lesson, you will learn the basic techniques such as: Stopping, starting, taking large and tight bends, riding uphill and downhill.

You can also go on hiking tours to the surrounding mountains and alpine pastures - the panorama from the Speikkogel is something to behold. And if the weather is not favourable, there are plenty of indoor options - bowling alley, darts, table tennis and many other games are available.

The Gasthof Moasterhaus is ideally located for a winter sports week - right on the doorstep is its own ski area - 40 hectares of pistes and 12 km of runs are available. In addition to skiing, the 2 km long toboggan run is also very popular - you can whizz down into the valley on the well-secured and floodlit toboggan run (toboggans can be hired on site).
