About us
Where the hearts of children and young people beat faster
Nestled in the very heart of Gesäuse National Park, surrounded by the striking mountain scenery of the Gesäuse range, the Nationalpark Gesäuse Lodge is located in the small village of Gstatterboden.
The lodge accommodates around 76 guests in 14 rooms, making it perfectly suited for school classes and group stays.
Its location is exceptional: just a few steps from the train station and bus stop, as well as the National Park Pavilion featuring a nature playground and a swimming area along the River Enns. Numerous hiking trails begin right at the doorstep, leading to popular destinations such as the Weidendom adventure centre and the Haindlkarhütte mountain hut.
A wide range of educational programmes for schools takes place directly in the immediate surroundings.
Breakfast, lunch and catering are provided at the neighbouring pavilion, which also offers a public restaurant area, an information point, a shop and a free exhibition. The sunny garden terrace, overlooking the impressive Gesäuse mountains, is truly one of a kind.
