The idea of roasting a delicious, exclusive coffee at the foot of the Dachstein was born - how could it be otherwise - during a hike in the Schladminger Tauern. For Christoph Hutegger, a passionate coffee lover with international experience and roots in the Styrian Ennstal, a hobby developed into a vocation. From the idea to its realisation, it took patience, time, know-how and a fine sense of taste - just like coffee roasting itself.
In the case of Dachstein Coffee, it is roasted in the traditional Viennese style, which is perfect for both strong espresso and cappuccino. The Dachstein Kaffe team offers the right coffee for every taste. From the filter coffee "Morgengruß" to the classic espresso "Alpinist" to the single roast "Bergluft", there is a coffee for every taste.

Differences between the various types of coffee and growing regions, as well as the freshness of the beans and the effect of different roasts on the taste, with a tour of the roastery.
Preparation methods: grinding espresso, correct dosing and tamping.
Introduction to the portafilter machine and coffee grinder. Milk frothing.
Tasting: analysis of the results of extraction and taste.

Compact knowledge about the analysis of the results of extraction and taste. At the end of the Dachstein Tour, we will serve you your favourite coffee, from espresso, lungo, cappuccino to caffè latte.
