Stoderzinken
The Stoderzinken is the local mountain of the people of Gröbming and Aich, rising impressively above the Gröbming Basin and the Enns Valley. In summer, the “Stoder” invites visitors to enjoy a wide range of activities.
At 2,048 metres, the Stoderzinken may not be among the tallest peaks, but thanks to its isolated location, it ranks as one of the best viewpoints in the entire Schladming-Dachstein region. A scenic alpine road leads up to the Stoderzinken, followed by a hiking trail to the summit, where visitors are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views—reaching up to 100 kilometres on clear days.
In summer, the Stoderzinken and its stunning natural surroundings can be explored via numerous hiking trails and via ferratas. In addition to the summit, the car park at 1,829 metres offers a variety of routes: the path to the Friedenskircherl, the scenic Stoderalm Loop with views over Gröbming, or a full-day hike via the Grafenberg pasture and Ahornsee lake. The Stoderzinken is also a stage along the Dachstein Circuit and the long-distance trail From Glacier to Wine.
