Aich

In summer, the recreation area in Aich, with its natural swimming lake, tennis courts as well as a climbing tower with a full range of difficulty, is one of the most popular attractions in the Schladming-Dachstein Region. This recreational facility promises nonstop variety and fun for all family members (table tennis, beach volleyball, a balance course, slackline, barefoot path, water trampoline). The smallest visitors are drawn especially to the Kids Corner (sheltered playgrounds, waterslide, different types of play equipment, water pump and water play area).

Also highly recommended: the idyllic Kneipp spa as well as a wide network of hiking paths and mountain bike trails along with the famous Enns Bike Path. Above Aich, we reach the cadastral village of Gössenberg, home to the “Steirischer Bodensee”, a pristine lake, natural jewel and top excursion destination in the heart of the Schladming-Dachstein Region.

In winter, the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area “Hauser Kaibling-Planai-Hochwurzen-Reiteralm”, with its numerous winter sports facilities, lies right at the doorstep. As an alternative to alpine ski sports, guests are greeted by countless winter hiking paths, ice stock rinks, sleigh rides and cross-country ski trails (with natural snow in abundance).
