Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Schladminger Tauern and Dachstein mountains is the Styrian Enns valley located. Here you find the market town HAUS (774 m).

The community currently has 2414 inhabitants and extends over an area of 82.4 square kilometers of the Dachstein Plateau in the north with a beautiful karst and alpine area over the Enns Valley to the side of the Schladminger Tauern in the south.
