Access from Haindlkar-parking (Part 2)

Admont

About the offer

The route describes the access to the climbing route! An alpine climbing route, which can be looked up in detail in the climbing guide "Xeis Auslese" by Andreas Hollinger and Jürgen Reinmüller!

If you drive the Gesaeuse federal road from Admont in the direction of Gstatterboden, you will find a parking lot on the right about 3 km after the inn "Zur Bachbrücke". This is the starting point for the Haindlkarhütte (GPS 1).
To this and further east follow the marked Peternpfad. Follow the flat path for a few hundred metres until you turn right into a mountain pine belt at a yellow sign "Hochtor Nordwand Jahn-Zimmer" (high gate north wall Jahn-Zimmer). After the
Latschengürtel you reach the large Schuttkar north of the Festkogel on a weakly marked path. Follow the cirque up to its left (eastern), upper end (waterhole) and then turn left at a prominent geological fault (brown and black rock).
...out. Follow the markings over some ditches and ridges to the left until you reach a prominent stepped gully. Partly in the gutter, partly up to the right of it to a drilled support hook at 1690m height (difficulties up to 1).
Surefootedness required, walking time 3 hours.

To the Haindlkarturm (Route "North pillar")
To the entrance of the "Jahn-Zimmer" and follow this in easy climbing (2+) until the striking, small embrasure with the inscription "J-Z". Not like the "Jahn-Zimmer" to the left but follow the partly marked "Lindenbach-Abseilweg" to the northwest wall. To the Festkogelturm (Route "Eifelturm") Like to the "Jahn-Zimmer" into the large Schuttkar. At the foot of the wall through the striking gorge in the summit line of the Festkogelturm to the entrance.
