From the Ramsau Kulm information office you walk to the Kulm Church. Opposite is the Kulmwirt, where you walk to the left of it - past one of the Ramsau "time windows" up to the connection to the Kulmbergrundweg #2, where there is another "time window" and you continue to the right. It goes briefly over the former ski run from Kulmberg and then briefly through the forest. A short steep section downhill and you come to the "Philosophenweg" - a wide walking path that leads you along the edge of the forest to Ramsau Ort.
You reach the place at the jumping stadium at the ski jump and hike around the outlet to the Waldschenke (there is also a hiking portal here as a possible starting point). You follow the road up into town, past the cross-country skiing world championship stadium and the Dachsteinbad Ramsau. In town you cross the main street and continue up - between the Zeitroas Museum and Hotel Pehab to the Evangelical Parish Church. Pass in front of the municipal office and above the Protestant cemetery, then turn right and walk up the access road to the fork. Here you keep to the right and go up to the beautiful farm Maierhofer. Directly in front of the farm you turn right onto the Panoramaweg Ost and walk eastwards along the beautiful meadow path with some seating areas to the Behrlehnerhof and Ramsauhof. You go forward to the Stierergrabenweg and then follow it downhill to the Stierer intersection on the state road. You walk along the sidewalk on the street back to the starting point in Ramsau Kulm.
A slightly longer alternative (around 20 minutes longer) is possible if you turn left on Stierergrabenweg shortly after the Hotel Sporthof Austria to Gruberhof and continue following the Panoramaweg Ost. Before the Hotel Dachsteinhof you turn right down onto “Lenzgasse” and reach Rössinger Landesstraße near the Hotel Berghof. Directly below the Hotel Berghof you finally hike back to Ramsau Kulm to the starting point at the information office.
